EELIX installs several large volume HDPE extruded coiled tanks at the Belleville power plant
From the start of the project, the clear objective was to secure and design large-volume storage facilities by putting all the technical advantages on its side. Although other materials were considered at the beginning of the project, CNPE de Belleville quickly decided to use high density polyethylene (HDPE) for many reasons: longevity, recyclability of the material, chemical resistance.
Coiled extrusion tanks
By offering EXTRUSION TANKS MASSIVE ROLLING Ex-Schoeller Allibert, EELIX SA was able to convince the engineering offices that worked on this project, as well as the quality departments that were present from the beginning of the project and during all the control operations.
The tanks have all been equipped with the various required accessories (manholes at the bottom of the tank for better access to the interior of the tanks, process connections, secure access with tank top walkways, and all in compliance with the European construction standard EN 12573-2.

Due to the seamless manufacturing of the ferrule, technologie EXTRUSION ENROULEMENT exclusive en France et Belgique chez EELIX, and the high performance techniques of EELIX for the extrusion of the bottoms and other equipment, only the EXTRUSION ROLLING by EELIX made it possible to manufacture these tanks in HDPE and to provide the guarantee.
With these new HDPE storage tanks, EELIX has succeeded in improving the safety and efficiency of hazardous chemical storage operations. The HDPE tanks are resistant to chemicals and corrosion, guaranteeing a long service life.
Using exclusive techniques, EELIX has succeeded in manufacturing large capacity tanks that meet the highest European construction standards. The tanks have also been equipped with all the necessary accessories to guarantee a safe and easy access to the interior of the tanks.
